Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active California SLP license or ability to obtain prior to start
  • Current SLP-CCC or SLP-CF credential
  • Previous experience with high school-aged students preferred, but not required
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to conduct thorough assessments and document progress efficiently

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to high school students, supporting IEP goals and academic success
  • Conduct assessments to identify student needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, and families to foster inclusive learning environments
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and review of student plans
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation in compliance with guidelines and schedules
