Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Valid state licensure required for school-based SLPs
  • Experience providing speech-language services in a school setting
  • Familiarity with virtual/teletherapy platforms preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Tech-savvy with reliable internet access
  • Ability to work independently and manage a virtual caseload

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students virtually
  • Collaborate with educators and families to support students’ IEP goals
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student evaluations remotely
  • Maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Provide consultation and support for teachers and staff regarding speech and language strategies
  • Adapt therapy sessions to meet the individual needs and goals of each student
