Desired background and qualifications:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathology license or CTC authorization
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Comfortable managing a full-time, school-year caseload
- Flexibility to work with a range of students, including those with varying needs
Core responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other support professionals
- Deliver therapy using evidence-based practices both individually and in groups
- Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings as needed
