Make a meaningful difference by supporting students’ communication and language skills in an elementary school setting. A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available, working 37.5 hours each week on a contract basis with an immediate start and coverage through June 11, continuing for the entire 2026/2027 school year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current or eligible SLP license in California
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; those completing CFY considered
  • Relevant experience with pediatric or school-based caseloads
  • Skills in assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for elementary-age children
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff, families, and a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to a caseload of 45 elementary students
  • Develop, implement, and update IEPs in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Conduct assessments and interpret results to formulate appropriate goals and interventions
  • Supervise and collaborate with an SLPA to maximize student progress
  • Maintain detailed session notes, progress reports, and required documentation
  • Communicate regularly with educators and parents to ensure student success and support
