Step into a rewarding role supporting students’ communication and learning as a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. Two full-time positions are available, giving you the opportunity to collaborate with dedicated school staff and make a tangible impact in the lives of children and families.
You’ll work standard school hours, from 8:15 am to 3:45 pm (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break), and provide essential speech and language services from August 12, 2026, through June 10, 2027. Each SLP will carry a manageable caseload of up to 55 students, allowing you to focus on high-quality care and individualized support.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current SLP license for the state of California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience working in school settings highly valued
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and compliance
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students
- Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop, update, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Complete progress reports and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and communicate progress to parents and staff
