School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Hayward, California

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• Active California SLP license or CF eligibility
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
• Prior experience in school settings or pediatric populations highly desirable
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Passion for supporting diverse learners from a variety of backgrounds

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group therapy to students across K-12 grade levels
• Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations, interpreting results for parents and educators
• Design and implement IEPs in accordance with district and state requirements
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and functional needs
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing program development

This is a contract position that offers the flexibility and variety of traveling between school sites within a supportive community atmosphere.
