Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Active California SLP license (or eligibility for state licensure)
- Previous experience in school-based settings is preferred
- Effective time management and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and other providers
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) in accordance with school guidelines
- Deliver direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
- Track student progress and document outcomes in compliance with school and state requirements
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and ongoing professional learning
- Provide consultation and support for educators regarding communication strategies in the classroom
