Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Active California SLP license (or eligibility for state licensure)
  • Previous experience in school-based settings is preferred
  • Effective time management and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and other providers

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students’ speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) in accordance with school guidelines
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
  • Track student progress and document outcomes in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement
  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and ongoing professional learning
  • Provide consultation and support for educators regarding communication strategies in the classroom
