Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings
- Provide direct therapy focused on achieving measurable speech and language goals
- Document progress meticulously, ensuring clear records for student growth and outcomes
- Work collaboratively with teachers, psychologists, and additional specialists to develop coordinated approaches for student care
- Involve and educate families, empowering them to support their child’s development outside of therapy sessions
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active or eligible state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Experience with pediatric or school-aged populations is advantageous
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
