Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
- Previous experience in school settings highly preferred
- Skilled in assessments, IEP development, and providing direct services to students with diverse speech and language needs
- Experience overseeing and collaborating with Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) is a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy to a school-aged population
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and comprehensive assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) aligned with student goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other multidisciplinary team members to maximize student progress
- Monitor, document, and report on student outcomes and therapy progress
- Participate in meetings, IEP reviews, and required professional development
- Supervise SLPAs as needed
