Key Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • California SLP license or eligibility (required)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Consideration for Clinical Fellows (CFs)
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience advantageous
  • Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations
  • Develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and treatment plans
  • Document session notes, progress monitoring, and parent/teacher communications
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to maximize student outcomes
  • Adapt to a caseload matched to your skills and assignment requirements
