Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
  • Active state licensure in California (or eligibility)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric settings highly valued
  • Ability to develop and implement IEPs effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal strengths

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and screenings to determine students’ speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEP goals
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ success
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Provide consultation and resources to staff and parents regarding communication strategies and interventions
  • Stay up to date with best practices in school-based speech therapy
