Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid SLP (Speech-Language Pathologist) license; Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
- Experience working in educational settings preferred, but dedicated new graduates will also be considered
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude
- Ability to manage time and documentation efficiently
- Knowledge of IEP processes, speech and language therapy tools, and best practices in schools
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Provide speech and language therapy to assigned caseloads, partnering with teachers, families, and other specialists
- Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based interventions with creativity and adaptability
- Maintain accurate and timely records, progress notes, and documentation
- Participate in meetings, contribute to multidisciplinary teams, and consult with educators on communication strategies
- Adjust therapy approaches for a variety of age groups based on assignment
