Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid SLP (Speech-Language Pathologist) license; Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
  • Experience working in educational settings preferred, but dedicated new graduates will also be considered
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude
  • Ability to manage time and documentation efficiently
  • Knowledge of IEP processes, speech and language therapy tools, and best practices in schools

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Provide speech and language therapy to assigned caseloads, partnering with teachers, families, and other specialists
  • Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
  • Deliver engaging, evidence-based interventions with creativity and adaptability
  • Maintain accurate and timely records, progress notes, and documentation
  • Participate in meetings, contribute to multidisciplinary teams, and consult with educators on communication strategies
  • Adjust therapy approaches for a variety of age groups based on assignment
