Work with a diverse caseload ranging from kindergarten through 5th grade or preschool students, leveraging your expertise to assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of speech and language disorders. Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current SLP license issued by the state of Ohio (required)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred
  • Experience in a school-based setting highly valued
  • Expertise in assessment, intervention planning, and therapy delivery for children
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with educators and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings, as well as formal and informal evaluations
  • Develop and implement customized intervention plans for students; document progress and adjust as needed
  • Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special education personnel, and parents to support student development
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress reporting
  • Provide consultation and training for staff on speech/language strategies and classroom modifications
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state requirements
