Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Heathsville, VA

In this contract position, you'll have the flexibility of choosing between full-time or part-time hours, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Located near Heathsville, VA, you’ll collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student success.

Pay for this position ranges from $45-55 per hour, and is determined by your years of experience and education.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Virginia SLP license required
• CCC-SLP, CFY, and experienced school-based and/or healthcare pediatric SLPs are encouraged to apply
• Strong understanding of school speech-language pathology services and compliance
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience working with pediatric populations in educational or healthcare settings
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide diagnostic evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs
• Collaborate closely with teachers, specialists, and families to integrate therapy goals into the classroom
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress documentation and records
• Support school initiatives for inclusive learning environments
• Serve as a resource to staff and parents regarding communication disorders and intervention strategies
