A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver services to students in grades K–10, serving a diverse caseload in the Helotes area, just outside San Antonio, TX. Enjoy a flexible, part-time schedule working three days each week, supporting approximately 30-35 students receiving both assessments and regular direct therapy. Your expertise will benefit children with a range of needs, including those who use AAC devices and students diagnosed with autism. The primary focus areas are articulation and fluency, providing varied and engaging work each day.

What You’ll Need:

  • Active Texas Speech-Language Pathology License
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience with school-age children, especially those on the autism spectrum or with complex communication needs
  • Knowledge of AAC device implementation is a plus
  • Strong assessment, direct therapy, and documentation skills
  • Commitment to on-site service delivery

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and re-evaluations for K–10 students
  • Deliver direct therapy, focusing on articulation and fluency disorders
  • Support students with AAC devices and tailor therapy strategies for various individual needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and support teams to develop and update IEPs
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records while monitoring student progress

This contract role offers a competitive hourly pay range of $42–$47, allowing you to make a meaningful impact while working a manageable, consistent schedule.
