Desired Background and Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
  • Current SLP licensure in California (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
  • Experience or strong interest in serving school-aged children
  • Ability to deliver therapy both onsite and via teletherapy platforms
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and assess students’ speech and language needs
  • Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, in-person and through teletherapy as needed
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Actively participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
