Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services to students across multiple school sites. This full-time position supports a diverse student population and offers the opportunity to collaborate with educational teams to help students achieve their communication goals.
Assigned Sites
- Hamilton Secondary School (Grades 6-12)
- Idyllwild School (PreK-8)
Schedule
- Monday-Friday
- Employee Hours: 8:15 AM - 3:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments.
- Provide direct therapy services to students with communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Participate in meetings, consultations, and student support planning.
- Ensure compliance with all state and professional standards.
Travel Requirements
This position may require daily travel between school sites to support student services. Candidates should be comfortable working across multiple locations as needed.
Qualifications Required
- Active California Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility for licensure.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage a diverse student caseload.
Preferred
- Previous school-based experience.
- Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates encouraged to apply.
- Qualified Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) may also be considered.
- Experience working with students across a wide range of age groups and communication needs.
