Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in North Carolina
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Previous experience providing speech therapy in educational settings preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with teachers, families, and support staff
• Proficiency in conducting assessments and developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students referred by the school
• Develop and deliver tailored therapy sessions, both individual and group, based on student needs
• Write detailed progress reports and participate in IEP meetings
• Collaborate closely with educators and families to support student learning goals
• Document services provided and maintain regular communication with stakeholders
• Stay current on best practices in school-based speech therapy and integrate innovative strategies
