Ideal candidates will possess the following skills and experience:
- National certification or eligibility for CCC-SLP, or be a strong Candidate for Clinical Fellowship (CFY)
- Experience in school-based, healthcare, and/or pediatric settings
- Solid understanding of IEPs, speech and language evaluation, and treatment interventions
- Background or interest in teletherapy (helpful, not required)
- Licensed or eligible for SLP or SLPA licensure
- Capable of working with diverse student populations across elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for a team environment
Key responsibilities in this role include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments and evaluations
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Monitoring progress and adjusting interventions as needed
- Participating in IEP meetings and documentation
- Providing both direct therapy and consultative services within the school setting
