Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program required
  • Active Nevada Department of Education (DOE) certification
  • Active Nevada SLP License
  • Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates eligible, but those holding ASHA CCCs are strongly preferred
  • Recent experience in school-based or pediatric settings is a plus
  • Bilingual capabilities are highly valued
  • Immediate availability for full-time hours and on-site commitment essential

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide direct, on-site speech and language therapy to students, with caseload, school assignment, and age group determined at placement
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation compliant with district and state guidelines
  • Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support each student’s progress
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in school-based speech therapy
  • Participate in district-led professional meetings and trainings
