Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program required
- Active Nevada Department of Education (DOE) certification
- Active Nevada SLP License
- Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates eligible, but those holding ASHA CCCs are strongly preferred
- Recent experience in school-based or pediatric settings is a plus
- Bilingual capabilities are highly valued
- Immediate availability for full-time hours and on-site commitment essential
What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct, on-site speech and language therapy to students, with caseload, school assignment, and age group determined at placement
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation compliant with district and state guidelines
- Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support each student’s progress
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in school-based speech therapy
- Participate in district-led professional meetings and trainings
