This position is ideal for speech-language pathologists with a background in pediatrics, school settings, or healthcare, including SLPs holding CCC or CFY status. You'll have the opportunity to work with a dynamic caseload, offering flexibility as the school grows and adapts. The assignment starts as soon as possible and runs through December 18, 2026, with a strong possibility for extension into the following semester.
Qualifications:
- Valid Nevada Speech-Language Pathology License
- Nevada Educator Certificate (required)
- Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged
- Ability to adapt to a changing caseload as a new campus establishes services
- Strong communication, organization, and collaborative skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language assessment, intervention, and consultation services in accordance with IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Monitor, document, and report student outcomes and service delivery
- Offer strategies and resources to staff and families
- Participate in team meetings and campus-wide initiatives
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
