Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Familiarity with school-based services, including IEP documentation and compliance
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Experience addressing diverse speech and language needs across elementary, middle, and high school populations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and comprehensive assessments
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families for integrated therapy approaches
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations, treatment, and progress reports
- Provide consultation and training to staff and caregivers regarding speech-language interventions
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations regarding school-based SLP services
