Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Active SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Ability to work with a range of ages, from kindergarten through high school
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to individualized, student-centered planning
  • Comfortable with IEP documentation and collaboration with educators and parents

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy to students from kindergarten through grade 12
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Document student progress, maintaining accurate and timely records
  • Work closely with teachers, counselors, and administrators to support each student’s educational goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Adapt interventions to meet the unique needs of each student on your caseload
  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment that promotes communication and learning
