Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP in Virginia
  • CCC-SLP certification or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status accepted
  • Prior experience in a school setting is a plus, but new graduates are welcome
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Conduct screenings and provide feedback on student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation to ensure compliance
