Qualifications/Experience Sought:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, with Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Active NYS license; TSSLD certification (or eligibility) preferred
- School-based experience (preferred), including direct therapy and consultation
- Strong skills in assessment, documentation, and collaboration
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative SLP services, including assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring
- Conduct formal/informal evaluations, create detailed reports, and interpret data for IEP/CPSE/CSE consideration
- Participate in developing, reviewing, and revising IEPs; attend team meetings
- Deliver therapy in a range of settings (individual, group, push-in, pull-out, consultation)
- Consult, support, and train staff and families on effective communication strategies
- Maintain all records in compliance with IDEA and NYS Education Law
- Engage in ongoing professional development to uphold state certification and best practices
