Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience serving school-aged children
  • Effective communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy approaches to individual student needs

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech therapy services based on students’ individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments to determine speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and update therapy goals and strategies tailored to each student
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members to support student progress
  • Document services, maintain detailed records, and participate in IEP meetings as required
  • Support inclusive learning environments and foster student confidence in communication
