Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience serving school-aged children
- Effective communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to individual student needs
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech therapy services based on students’ individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments to determine speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and update therapy goals and strategies tailored to each student
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members to support student progress
- Document services, maintain detailed records, and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Support inclusive learning environments and foster student confidence in communication
