Qualifications & Skills:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active SLP license or eligibility for licensure in Mississippi
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowships (CFs) considered
  • Experience working with pediatric or school-based populations
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Dedication to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional growth

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech-language assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions to address students’ communication needs in individual and group settings
  • Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development activities
  • Educate staff and families on strategies to enhance communication skills within the classroom and at home
