Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current California SLP license or eligibility
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior school-based experience or a strong interest in pediatric populations
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in a school environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with school staff and families
- Efficient documentation and organizational abilities
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to K-12 students
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and administrators on student needs
- Attend and contribute at IEP meetings, creating comprehensive reports and recommendations
- Implement interventions addressing articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatic skills
- Participate in school-wide initiatives to support student communication and success
