Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Florida SLP license (Clinical Fellowship Year [CFY] candidates welcome)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred, but CFY supervised opportunities available
- Previous experience in school-based settings or working with school-age children is advantageous
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaborative skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to elementary and secondary students across various charter and preparatory school sites
- Caseload may include Renaissance Charter (31.5 hours/week), Tradition Preparatory High (15 hours/week), Innovation Academy (1 hour/week), Union Park Charter Academy (16 hours/week), Four Corners Charter School (23-28 hours/week), and Downtown Miami Charter School (4-5 hours/week, 2 days/week)
- Assess, diagnose, and provide individualized interventions for students with communication disorders
- Develop and implement IEP goals, progress reports, and treatment documentation in compliance with district and federal guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and collaborate with educators and families to support student success
