Make a meaningful impact supporting students’ communication and learning skills in a dynamic contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time assignment runs the entire school year and involves working onsite across two areas, serving four schools. You’ll collaborate with dedicated educators and other specialists to provide high-quality intervention and support for a diverse student caseload, typically around 34–40 students. There is a possibility for virtual service delivery if an SLPA can facilitate onsite.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Active state SLP license
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families
- Willingness to travel between assigned schools
- Tech-savvy and comfortable adapting to virtual delivery models (if applicable)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessments, diagnostics, and therapy to students with speech, language, or communication needs
- Develop, implement, and update individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff to promote student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team planning
- Adapt services as needed for onsite or virtual delivery models
