Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting, preferred but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to engage effectively with students, families, and staff
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and progress monitoring
  • Ability to adapt therapy approaches to diverse student needs and learning styles

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessments and evaluations of students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with educational goals
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to maximize student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and documentation in compliance with regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights to student learning plans
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to remain current with best practices
