A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2026-2027 school year, beginning August 6, 2026. This contract role is primarily based in Hickory, NC, with services extending to Lincolnton, NC. The position offers an opportunity to work within a school setting, supporting students’ communication and language development, including teletherapy and pediatrics.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations, screenings, and assessments for students.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services in-person and via teletherapy platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional insights.
  • Stay current with evidence-based practices and professional development in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or eligibility.
  • Experience working in school settings preferred, including CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) completion.
  • Proficiency in teletherapy delivery and pediatric speech-language services.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Location & Schedule:

  • Primary locations: Hickory, NC and Lincolnton, NC.
  • Full-time contract position for the 2026-2027 academic year.
  • Start date: August 6, 2026.
