A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2026-2027 school year, beginning August 6, 2026. This contract role is primarily based in Hickory, NC, with services extending to Lincolnton, NC. The position offers an opportunity to work within a school setting, supporting students’ communication and language development, including teletherapy and pediatrics.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations, screenings, and assessments for students.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs.
- Provide direct therapy services in-person and via teletherapy platforms.
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional insights.
- Stay current with evidence-based practices and professional development in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or eligibility.
- Experience working in school settings preferred, including CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) completion.
- Proficiency in teletherapy delivery and pediatric speech-language services.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

- Primary locations: Hickory, NC and Lincolnton, NC.
- Full-time contract position for the 2026-2027 academic year.
