Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current SLP license (or eligibility) in North Carolina
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred but not required for eligible Clinical Fellows
  • Prior experience in school settings with elementary, middle, and/or high school populations
  • Comfortable providing both group and individualized therapy sessions (including 1:1 support)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
  • Ability to support students with diverse language, articulation, fluency, and social communication needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational teams
  • Deliver engaging therapy sessions to assigned caseload, including 1:1 and small group interventions
  • Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to parent/teacher meetings
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, special educators, and administrators to ensure integrative student support
  • Participate in IEP meetings and professional development as needed
