Licensed Middle School School Speech Language Pathologist - Hickory, NC

Desired qualifications and experience:

• State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), with current certification
• Experience or strong interest working in school environments across varied age groups (elementary, middle, high school)
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs, conduct evaluations, and create treatment plans tailored to individual needs
• Skilled in both 1:1 and small group intervention formats
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals and school policies
• Conduct assessments to determine communication strengths and needs
• Develop individualized objectives and regularly monitor progress
• Document sessions accurately and maintain records as required
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each student’s success in the classroom
• Provide consultation, support, and training to staff, where applicable
