This full-time position supports both intermediate (grades 4-5) and middle school (grades 6-8) students, with a focus on empowering learners near Higganum, CT. Key Qualifications:

  • Active and valid CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
  • Prior experience in school-based SLP settings preferred
  • Comfortable serving both intermediate and middle school-aged children
  • Skilled with diagnostic, therapeutic, and documentation responsibilities
  • Experience with SLP-Healthcare, Pediatrics, CFY, and Teletherapy a plus
  • Adaptability to different caseload sizes based on prior school experience

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to students in grades 4-8
  • Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and monitor student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and compliance with all legal and ethical standards
  • Provide both in-person and teletherapy services as needed
