The role requires a certified SLP with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide speech and language support to middle school students. This contract runs from April 15 through June 11 and offers the opportunity to work in a supportive educational environment during the final months of the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in middle school students (grades 6-8)
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs and progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
- Implement evidence-based strategies to improve students’ communication skills
Qualifications:
- Valid state certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience working with students in grades K-12 preferred, with a focus on middle school (grades 6-8)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with school staff and families
- Ability to work full-time during contract period from April 15 to June 11
