Grades K - 5 Certified School Speech Language Pathologist - Higganum, CT

Make a meaningful impact in education by supporting middle school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a full-time contract assignment from April 15th through June 11th. This opportunity is ideal for a certified SLP who is passionate about helping grades 6-8 students achieve their communication and academic goals.

Key Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Experience working with students in grades 6-8 preferred
• Comfortable collaborating with educators, families, and support staff
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to middle school students
• Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and document progress
• Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to support Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
• Offer resources and strategies to families and educators for supporting students’ communication development
