Desired Qualifications:
- Valid SLP Certification (CCC’s required)
- Experience providing services within school settings, particularly with grades 6-8; comfort with K-12 a plus
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop IEP goals, complete assessments, and deliver both direct and consultative support
- Dedication to confidentiality, student growth, and fostering positive relationships
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy for middle school students, both individually and in groups
- Conduct assessments to identify needs and track progress
- Create and implement effective therapy plans aligned with student IEPs
- Work alongside teachers, families, and other professionals to promote optimal student outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in team meetings as needed
