This opportunity is ideal for a certified SLP who is passionate about helping grades 6-8 students achieve their communication and academic goals.
Key Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience working with students in grades 6-8 preferred
- Comfortable collaborating with educators, families, and support staff
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to middle school students
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and document progress
- Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to support Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Offer resources and strategies to families and educators for supporting students’ communication development
