Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist certification
- Experience working with students in grades 6-8 or 9-12, or with K-5 populations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both with students and educational staff
- Ability to develop, implement, and track individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Comfort with data collection, progress monitoring, and collaborative teamwork
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to high school students as outlined in IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and support staff to facilitate student progress
- Assess student abilities, set goals, and monitor outcomes
- Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate, confidential records
- Engage with families to share progress and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Support a positive and inclusive learning environment conducive to student achievement
