Early Childhood Education (ECE) Licensed School Speech Therapist - Higginsville, Missouri

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Active state licensure as an SLP or SLPA; certification required
• Specialized experience or genuine interest in Early Childhood speech and language services
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Commitment to fostering positive outcomes for young learners

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy and perform evaluations for early childhood students
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop individualized education plans
• Maintain accurate records and progress notes in accordance with district and regulatory guidelines
• Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings and provide expert input into student support plans
• Mentor or collaborate with the onsite SLPA to ensure high-quality service delivery
• Engage students with tailored interventions that spark communication growth
