This full-time contract position seeks passionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP or SLP-CF) ready to make a true difference. This contract spans from August 12, 2026, through June 11, 2027, covering 35-37.5 hours per week. Caseloads are capped at a manageable 35 students, with specific details tailored in the interview to best match your interests. If you thrive on working with students with autism (AU) and low cognitive disabilities, your experience and compassion will be especially valued. While SLP-CF candidates are welcome, district supervision is available to support your ongoing growth. Please note, this opportunity is not accepting SLPA applicants at this time.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current NC SLP license required
  • SLP-CF considered if eligible for district supervision
  • Experience in school settings highly preferred
  • Background in supporting students with autism and low cognitive disabilities is a plus
  • Strong collaborative and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to assigned caseload
  • Evaluate and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success
  • Provide engaging interventions and monitor progress
  • Maintain thorough documentation in line with district and state guidelines
