Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic educational setting near High Point, NC. This full-time contract opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year, offering a supportive environment with district-provided supervision for Clinical Fellows and flexibility in caseload preferences. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver essential services to a diverse student population, focusing on those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (AU) and low cognitive disabilities.
Key Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina SLP license required
- Accepting candidates with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or those in their Clinical Fellowship (CF) year (Supervision is available)
- Experience working in schools or with pediatric caseloads is highly valued
- Prior exposure to Autism Spectrum Disorder and low cognitive disabilities preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage a student caseload of up to 35
- Must be available to work 35 to 37.5 hours per week for the full contract term (8/12/26 through 6/11/27)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Document and track student progress in accordance with district and state regulations
- Participate in eligibility, IEP meetings, and staff development as needed
- Provide support and resources for students and families
