Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic educational setting near High Point, NC. This full-time contract opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year, offering a supportive environment with district-provided supervision for Clinical Fellows and flexibility in caseload preferences. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver essential services to a diverse student population, focusing on those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (AU) and low cognitive disabilities.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active North Carolina SLP license required
  • Accepting candidates with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or those in their Clinical Fellowship (CF) year (Supervision is available)
  • Experience working in schools or with pediatric caseloads is highly valued
  • Prior exposure to Autism Spectrum Disorder and low cognitive disabilities preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Ability to manage a student caseload of up to 35
  • Must be available to work 35 to 37.5 hours per week for the full contract term (8/12/26 through 6/11/27)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Document and track student progress in accordance with district and state regulations
  • Participate in eligibility, IEP meetings, and staff development as needed
  • Provide support and resources for students and families
