Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility) for North Carolina
  • Previous experience providing speech therapy services in a school setting strongly preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Passion for supporting student learning and achievement

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessments, diagnostics, and direct therapy for students with a range of speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals in accordance with IEP guidelines
  • Collaborate daily with teachers, administrators, and family members to support student progress and foster positive educational outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records, prepare comprehensive reports, and document student progress toward goals
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, professional development, and parent conferences
  • Provide consultative services and training as needed for staff and family members
