Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) for North Carolina
- Previous experience providing speech therapy services in a school setting strongly preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Passion for supporting student learning and achievement
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide assessments, diagnostics, and direct therapy for students with a range of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals in accordance with IEP guidelines
- Collaborate daily with teachers, administrators, and family members to support student progress and foster positive educational outcomes
- Maintain accurate records, prepare comprehensive reports, and document student progress toward goals
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, professional development, and parent conferences
- Provide consultative services and training as needed for staff and family members
