Make a meaningful impact in local schools as an on-site Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving students in grades PreK through 12. This contract opportunity offers a dynamic caseload between 35–40 students at either a primary or shared elementary/middle school setting near High Point, NC. You’ll work collaboratively with educators and families, empowering students to communicate effectively with the right interventions and supports.

Qualifications:

  • Active North Carolina NCDPI SLP License (confirmation required)
  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
  • Experience with ECATS system is essential
  • Experience with Infinite Campus preferred
  • Previous school-based SLP experience strongly valued
  • Please note: Only SLP-CCCs will be considered. SLP CFs/SLPAs are not eligible

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language services according to student IEPs
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations, writing thorough assessment reports
  • Design, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
  • Participate in IEP meetings; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
  • Use ECATS and Infinite Campus for documentation, scheduling, and compliance reporting
  • Provide classroom-based support and consultative services as needed
  • Monitor student progress, adjusting interventions using data-driven approaches
  • Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal special education requirements
  • Maintain timely and accurate progress notes and records
