Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP license and the ability to practice in North Carolina
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates also considered
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in school environments
  • Familiarity with using teletherapy platforms and supporting remote or hybrid learning environments
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Collaborative mindset for working with teachers, administrators, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language pathology services to students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain accurate documentation
  • Collaborate with general and special education staff to support each student’s needs
  • Provide teletherapy services as needed, ensuring accessibility for all students on caseload
  • Participate in parent conferences, IEP meetings, and staff training sessions
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
