Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license and the ability to practice in North Carolina
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates also considered
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school environments
- Familiarity with using teletherapy platforms and supporting remote or hybrid learning environments
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborative mindset for working with teachers, administrators, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with general and special education staff to support each student’s needs
- Provide teletherapy services as needed, ensuring accessibility for all students on caseload
- Participate in parent conferences, IEP meetings, and staff training sessions
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
