Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current or eligible NC SLP license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) status
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication skills to determine individual needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and targeted interventions
  • Provide direct therapy to students in both individual and group settings
  • Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other specialists to support students’ progress
  • Document student performance and maintain timely, accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to collaborative problem-solving teams
