Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current or eligible NC SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) status
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication skills to determine individual needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and targeted interventions
- Provide direct therapy to students in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other specialists to support students’ progress
- Document student performance and maintain timely, accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to collaborative problem-solving teams
