Enhance student communication skills and make a meaningful difference throughout the 2026/2027 school year as a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist on a contract basis. This is a rewarding opportunity to work 35 hours per week in a supportive school environment near High Point, NC, helping learners achieve their full potential through effective speech and language intervention.

Required Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current or eligible North Carolina SLP license
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Previous school-based experience with IEPs and caseload management is desirable
  • Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
  • Compassionate, collaborative, and adaptable approach in educational settings

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy to students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student goals
  • Maintain precise records of student progress and intervention outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and professional development
  • Empower students to improve communication, social skills, and classroom participation
