As a valued member of multidisciplinary teams, you’ll deliver direct therapy, conduct evaluations, and manage IEPs—supporting K-5 students in a traditional elementary setting or providing specialized intervention for K-12 students with complex needs. What you bring:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in North Carolina
  • National certification (CCC-SLP) highly desired
  • Experience working in school settings and collaborating with educational staff
  • For elementary placement: background with younger student populations
  • For specialized placement: familiarity with adaptive/augmentative communication (AAC), and experience with low-incidence or high-need student groups is preferred
  • Strong organizational skills to manage evaluations and develop IEP goals
  • Flexibility, resourcefulness, and a passion for student growth

What you’ll do:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy and evaluations
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and related-service professionals
  • Support students with diverse communication needs, including those requiring specialized interventions or adaptive technology
  • Document services and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
