Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license and current certification
- Previous school-based experience preferred (elementary, middle, or high school)
- Able to provide effective 1:1 and group therapy
- Strong understanding of speech/language development in children and adolescents
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Comfortable with documentation and progress reporting
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions, both one-on-one and in small groups
- Track student progress and maintain detailed records
- Consult with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members
- Participate in meetings and provide professional guidance on accommodations and modifications
