This contract role offers the chance to work closely with learners at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, addressing diverse communication needs. You’ll collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators to help students develop critical skills for academic and social success.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) highly preferred
  • Experience working in schools, ideally with elementary, middle, and high school students
  • Comfortable providing 1:1 therapy and group interventions
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to create individualized education plans (IEPs) and maintain documentation as required by school policies

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
  • Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure effective communication strategies throughout the school environment
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise in speech-language development
  • Maintain accurate records of progress and compliance with school and district policies
