Middle School Elementary School-Based SLP | High Point, North Carolina

Key Qualifications:

• Valid SLP license and current certification
• Previous school-based experience preferred (elementary, middle, or high school)
• Able to provide effective 1:1 and group therapy
• Strong understanding of speech/language development in children and adolescents
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Comfortable with documentation and progress reporting

Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
• Deliver engaging therapy sessions, both one-on-one and in small groups
• Track student progress and maintain detailed records
• Consult with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members
• Participate in meetings and provide professional guidance on accommodations and modifications
