Step into a dynamic contract position supporting K-8 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This assignment offers the chance to positively impact young learners through targeted interventions in a school-based environment. You will work directly with a caseload of 18 students, helping them achieve their communication goals throughout the remainder of the school year.

Your expertise in pediatric SLP practice will be valued as you collaborate with educational staff, develop individualized plans, and facilitate communication growth in a supportive school setting.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current SLP-CCC credential
  • Licensed SLP in Ohio or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Experience in school-based settings, particularly with pediatric and K-8 populations
  • Proficiency in delivering speech-language interventions and conducting assessments
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to K-8 students, managing a caseload of 18
  • Deliver a total of 2,700 student therapy minutes per quarter, not to exceed 20 hours per week
  • Create, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Assess, document, and track student progress to ensure effective outcomes
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
  • Offer support and recommendations to promote students’ academic and social success

This contract position runs from ASAP through the end of the school year, with a flexible schedule designed to fit within a maximum of 20 hours weekly.
