In this role, you’ll use your expert speech-language pathology skills to make a daily impact in the lives of students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Your services will reach a diverse caseload of 38 students, ensuring individualized attention and progress toward each student’s unique speech and language goals. With a maximum of 30 hours per week and specific service targets (7,160 minutes per quarter), you’ll enjoy both meaningful work and manageable scheduling.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current license to practice Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience working within pediatric, healthcare, or school settings
- Comfortable serving school-aged children and adolescents (grades K-12)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to a range of developmental and educational needs
Primary Duties:
- Deliver direct speech-language services to a caseload of 38 students across K-12, in individual and group settings
- Develop, implement, and track individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational teams and families
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and maintain meticulous records to document student progress
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise to student planning
- Provide consultative support and resources for teachers and staff to support communication needs in the classroom
- Fulfill service delivery targets: 7,160 total minutes per quarter
