This full-time, contract speech-language pathologist role provides the chance to work with K-12th grade students for the 2026-2027 academic year, starting August 19th and continuing through May 28th. Here, you will play a vital part in helping learners reach their communication and educational goals.

In this dynamic school-based setting, your days will be filled with meaningful interactions as you assess, diagnose, and provide therapy to a diverse student population. Each week, you’ll dedicate 37.5 hours to fostering growth and confidence through personalized intervention plans and collaboration with educators, families, and fellow specialists.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for practice in Ohio
  • Previous school-based experience preferred, especially with K-12 students
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to tailor approaches for a wide range of student needs and backgrounds

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, evaluate, and treat students with speech, language, voice, or fluency challenges
  • Develop and execute individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Maintain up-to-date records and documentation in compliance with school guidelines
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP conferences
  • Provide consultative support to teachers, staff, and families
  • Foster an inclusive, supportive, and growth-focused environment for all students
