Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds are welcome
- Ability to develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and monitor progress
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Collaborative approach for working with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students with varying needs
- Complete comprehensive assessments and create individualized treatment plans
- Document progress and maintain required records in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Deliver both direct therapy and consultative services as determined by student needs
- Educate staff and families on strategies to support students’ communication goals in the classroom and beyond
