Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Valid state licensure (or ability to obtain before starting)
  • Experience in school settings preferred
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Commitment to culturally responsive practices

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students to identify speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Provide direct intervention services to students with varied communication challenges
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Document all services, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Educate staff and caregivers on strategies to support students’ communication needs
  • Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
